Remuneration

9 month appointments:

Residence Life:
Half-time: $6,183*

Other Areas of Student Affairs:
Half-time: $11,322*

11 month contract


Hall Director: $25,705/12 months ($23,562/11 mo.)
Resident Director: $30,012/12months ($27,511/11 mo.)
Complex Director: $32,000/12 months ($29,333/11 mo.)

*These are 2008-2009 figures for a 12-month salary; full-time staff go on unpaid leave for approximately 1 month during summer.
Meals
 Residence Life only:
Unlimited meal plan when classes are in session.		 Unlimited meal plan when classes are in session.
Apartment
 Residence Life only:
Furnished 1 bedroom apartment. Summer housing contingent upon departmental commitment of 10 hours per week 		Furnished 1 bedroom
Academic Credits All Assistantships:

* qualify for immediate in-state tuition rates
* matriculation fees are waived for MSU courses		 14 credits per year after 1 year of full time employment or up to $800 for university professional development, qualify for immediate in-state tuition rates
