A: Rollerblading, biking on the balconies and patio areas: not permitted. Keep the lawn and porch areas free of debris and safety hazards, etc. Keep grills at a safe distance from your apartment, extinguish hot coals and cover your grill after use. Instruct your children NOT to talk to strangers, get in the car with strangers, or let strangers into the apartment without a parent present. There is a section on emergency protocols and safety concerns on the UARL website (www.housing.msu.edu/uapts). Please familiarize yourself and your family members with these important safety procedures.

A: often drop below freezing (32 degrees Fahrenheit) or even to minus degrees. You need: warm coat, hood, scarf, gloves/mittens, waterproof boots. Please dress children appropriately for the cold weather.
